​​Creating engaging copy to encourage tourists to start imagining their visit to this beautiful part of the world and its many attractions.

We worked with Mid Ulster District Council to write website copy for its new tourism site Visit Mid Ulster and Unwinding Time tourism brand.

We wanted to bring a sense of being in Mid Ulster to the reader to help them to start picturing their visit. Getting to grips with everything from spooky ghost stories of the district’s historic houses through to the virtues of its golf courses, we researched and created engaging content for all of the website’s key pages.

Playing with the idea of time, Mid Ulster’s relaxing pace of life and gentle pace of change (juxtaposed with some high-octane outdoor activities), we crafted content to make the visitor experience something tangible for the reader.

 

Our writing showcases all of Mid Ulster’s considerable tourism offering, and reveals a few of its hidden gems along the way.

 

A taste of what we wrote

Time moves a bit differently here, taking you to places you didn’t expect to go. Like the outer reaches of the solar system. Or the depths of Lough Neagh, where eels burrow and swim.

To the peak of a mountain and down to the forests and emerald-green valleys below (by foot or on bike - it just depends how quickly you want to travel).

Journey to a different time or place, like a Bronze Age settlement, an ancient stronghold of a warring clan at Tullaghoge Fort or a pastoral 1940s landscape seen through Seamus Heaney’s eyes.
